about us
The 107 is an officially registered club of USA Archery, the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of archery in the United States.
The name 107
World Archery is the governing body for International Archery and sets all rules for Olympic and World Championships. Included in those rules are the specifications for target face sizes and colors. The gold in the center of the target face is required to be Pantone 107 Yellow. Thus, the 107 Archery Club is Focusing on the Gold!
equipment
Archery is an equipment-intensive sport. New shooters can easily find themselves overwhelmed by the amount of equipment available and the specifications surrounding arrows, limbs and accessories. Rental equipment is available to new shooters. When you are ready to make a purchase, the 107 coaching staff can help you find what you need.
youth and adults
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a program for youth archers 8-20 years old, and the Adult Archery Program (AAP) is archers age 21 and up. Participants can enjoy the sportrecreationally or progress to the excitement of competition. The JOAD/AAP programs offer barebow, basic compound, recurve, and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that builds self-confidence, increases focus, and fosters sportsmanship. The 107 Archery Club offers both a JOAD and an AAP.
location
DATUS (Devoted Archers True Utah Sportsman) is a private archery club founded over 45 years ago in the Salt Lake Valley. DATUS features nearly 6,000 square feet with 24 indoor lanes, two outdoor 70-yard lanes, and a spacious common area.
While 107 and DATUS work together, they are separate entities. The 107 is an officially registered USA Archery club. DATUS is a nonprofit, private archery range that has generously agreed to host the 107’s events. If you join the 107, your membership does not include DATUS membership. DATUS membership provides you with 24/7 access to the range and a discounted monthly rate for the JOAD program. The 107 Archery Club encourages members to become DATUS members. Membership is simple to obtain and provides valuable knowledge and friendships. Families in the 107 Archery Club JOAD and AAP programs are encouraged to join DATUS.
